Helping you apply, if you qualify

Ready to get Assessed?

Are you planning to apply for a Skilled visa to Australia? Then, it is mandatory to obtain a skills assessment, which demonstrates that you have the necessary skills required for an occupation listed on current visa Occupation Lists.

The requirements for each occupation (and each assessing authority) may differ, but generally, you will need to provide evidence of your identity, qualifications, work experience, and overseas or Australian registration or licensing (if applicable). You must also pay the fee charged by the authority for the skills assessment and provide any other documents or information required.

Some Skill Assessment Authorities in Australia

The DOHA has specified an assessing authority for each skilled occupation listed on the relevant occupation lists. Therefore, only a skills assessment conducted by the relevant assessing authority will be accepted by the DOHA in support of an EOI or visa application. The assessing authority will review your qualifications and work experience to determine whether or not you possess the necessary skills to undertake your chosen occupation in Australia.

Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) is a skill assessment body that evaluates the skills of various trade occupations, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers. The organization is based in Melbourne, Victoria.

Process for Assessment Applications

To determine whether you are eligible for a successful skills assessment, we will perform a pre assessment following the selection of your skilled occupation from the appropriate visa occupation list and the identification of the appropriate skills assessment authority. For us to determine if you are eligible for a skills assessment, we will need to review your documents and personal information.

Application Process

As a result of our pre-assessment, if you choose us to prepare your skills assessment application, we will give you all the documents and information you need to support your application.

As soon as we receive all the required documents and information, along with the assessment fee, we will submit your application to the skills-assessing authority. If required, we will follow-up the application with the assessing authorities and respond to any requests for information.

According to the processing time standards of the authority, the time it takes to process your case may vary depending on its complexity, risk factors, and processing priorities. Please contact us for current information on the likely processing time for this type of application.

Employment and Qualification Verification

During the process of assessing your application, the skills assessing authority will conduct extensive checks on your work experience and qualifications. This will likely include social media searches and/or reaching out directly to you, your education providers, and employers (past or present) via email or telephone regarding the information you provided. It is essential to keep contact information, social media information, and all other information up-to-date, and to ensure that the appropriate people know that they can be reached in this regard.

It is possible for the skills assessing authority to access any publicly available information when making a decision about your skills assessment application.
